Neil Innes is a creator living in Barcelona, Spain. He is a film maker, producer, editor, writer, photographer and the Global Head of Audio for the Los Angeles based Frequency Machine and Cerca. He likes movies, music and food, a lot. He is a comedy freak, a father, pretty good cook and is also the show runner and co host of the critically acclaimed podcasts Passport and MisInfoNation.

Born in the dark and blustery far North of England and relocating to the most isolated city in Australia at age 12, Neil’s early life was filled with contrasts. After studying multimedia in Perth, Western Australia he high tailed it to London to play music and got into television by mistake.

Working for more than a decade at many of the cities most prestigious production companies as a freelance editor, Neil once again relocated to Barcelona where he helped create content for the GPS storytelling app Detour.

This serendipitous job led to creating Passport, a highly produced weekly comedy travel show which launched in 2020 during a global pandemic. It went on to become one of the number one travel shows in a year where no one could… and led the team at Frequency Machine to create the stunning travel platform Cerca.
